Group Congress Registration

Registration includes the following for all congress participants:

• Admission to all scientific sessions
• Admission to the industrial exhibition
• Access to all of the Pre- and Post-ECCMID Days including the recordings after the live events
• A congress bag*
• Public transport within the city of Lisbon (not included for exhibitors, exhibition visitors and day tickets)* **

Note: Meals are not included in your registration fee.

Please be advised that children under the age of 18 are not permitted to accompany ECCMID delegates.

As in previous years, ECCMID attendees are given the option to pay a 20 EUR donation upon registration.
The revenues from this initiative will be used to directly support attendees who would otherwise not be able to attend the congress.

The grant covers the following for grantees: travel, accommodation, up to five nights (depending on the origin of the grantee) and the ECCMID 2022 registration fee. It can also be used for solely online participation as well covering the full registration cost for grantees that do not have the ability to travel.

Payment

Payment of registration fees (in EUR) can be made as follows:

You can make payments using a credit card (AMEX, MasterCard or Visa) or by bank transfer. However, payment by bank transfer is only possible until 6 April 2022, 23:59 CET.
A separate invoice address can be added during your booking process, please make sure to do this before finalizing your booking.

For bank transfer, details will be provided by email once the group registration is completed. Please ensure that the invoice number is stated on the transaction draft. Bank charges are the responsibility of the payer and should be paid in addition to the registration fees.

Change of invoice address

During your online registration, you can enter the required invoice address.

Any changes of the invoice address after completing your registration incur a processing charge of 30 EUR.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be electronically mailed to eccmidregistration[at]escmid.org.

No name changes or cancellations are possible on online registrations

For the hybrid registration, Registration fees will be refunded as follows:

• Cancellations received up to and including 23 February 2022: total minus 25% handling fee

• No refund on cancellations as of 24 February 2022

• For any name change, a fee of 50 EUR will be charged. Deadline for name changes: 18 April 2022. Name changes can only be done if the delegate did not yet confirm their ESCMID account (last step of the group registration process) and/or did not attend any Pre-ECCMID Days.

• Changes from an ONLINE ONLY registration to FULL REGISTRATION HYBRID can only be done until 11 April 2022, by email to eccmidregistration[at]escmid.org and are subject to a 50 EUR handling fee.

Registration Guidelines

In order to proceed with your group registration, please log in via the congress website. If you do not yet have an ESCMID account, you can easily create a new one here.

Once logged in, please follow the three steps as mentioned in the online group portal.

Payment can either be done by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Amex) or bank transfer. Bank transfer is available until 6 April 2022. A different invoice address can be added separately.

Individual participant’s data can be entered under “add participants”.

To register your delegates, the following data will be needed:

• Email address - please make sure to enter the delegates’ correct individual email address, as this will be used for login to the online content.
• First name
• Last name
• Gender
• Title
• Date of birth
• Institution / Company
• City
• Country
• Information if they are prescriber or not
• Proof upload, if requested for that category

The group leader does agree to the terms and conditions on behalf of the delegates being registered.

All tickets must be connected to a name by 31 March 2022.

Any unassigned tickets as of 1 April will be changed to the highest registration fee.

After having been added to a group, delegates need to confirm their account using their ESCMID login. This is mandatory to be able to participate in the congress. If delegates do not confirm their accounts by themselves, the ESCMID registration team reserves the right to confirm the account from the backend, to enable their attendance.

CME Certificate

After the congress, all registered participants will receive an email with the link to the congress survey (mandatory for CME credits) and information on how to download their CME certificate and information on how to access the recordings.

Due to GDPR regulations, the congress organizer is not authorized to share delegates’ certificates with a third-party, even if the third-party has paid for the registration(s). Should you need to receive your group participants’ certificate, you are kindly asked to contact them directly.
